Station in Arab Town Blasted As Extremists Renew Attacks on Palestine Lines

The railroad station in the all-Arab town of ? was blown up today as the Stern Group renewed its attack on Palestine’s rail ? At the same time, the Sternists cut the tracks in three places.

The Ramleh blast was the work of four uniformed men who swung off a train roaching the station, placed a basket-full of bombs alongside the building and ?rned to the train. A short time afterwards a terrific explosion destroyed the ?tion, slightly injuring the wife of the stationmaster.

The Benyamina Zichron line was damaged when a bomb exploded just after a ?ight train passed. Slight damage was also caused by mines north of Tel Aviv and ?ulda. The Rehovoth station received a telephone warning that it, too, would be ? up, but a search by police turned up no explosives.

The Stern Group announced tonight that they had carried out the attacks in aliation for the deportation of the visaless immigrants who arrived on Saturday ? the Ghetto Fighters. They warned that they would continue the “reprisals” ?il the government ceased deporting immigrants.
