Swedish Foreign Minister Discusses Checking Anti-semitic Propaganda with Jewish Leader

Dr. Noah Barou, chairman of the European Council of the World Jewish Congress, was received today in Stockholm by Swedish Foreign Minister Tage Fritjof Erlander and the two discussed measures to check anti-Semitic propaganda which is being spread throughout the world from Sweden.

The Congress today appealed to the British Colonial Office here for aid for some 200 Yemenite Jews who are threatened with return to Yemen from the British protectorate of Aden to which they fled from the Arab state. The W.J.C. acted after receiving an urgent cable from the Aden Emergency Committee. The Colonial Off ice promised to ask the Aden authorities for an immediate, detailed report on the situation.
