Download PDF for this date

Two Egyptian fishing boats were captured last night by an Israeli police boat off the shores of southern Israel. The occupants of the boats were arrested.

A report here today said that the Egyptian fishermen opened fire on the Israeli police launch when it intercepted them. The report revealed that only four fishermen were detained. Four others succeeded in escaping.

A group of Israeli students touring archaeological sites in Southern Israel were attacked today by Arab infiltrees. The attackers were repulsed with losses. One of the students was wounded and was later flown into the interior for medical treatment.
