Israel Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett left here last night to return to Israel, via Rio de Janeiro, in order to be back in the Jewish State in time to welcome Secretary of State John Foster Dulles who is scheduled to arrive there Wednesday.

Before his departure, Mr. Sharett visited four South American countries on his month-long goodwill tour. He began his Latin American tour in Argentina then went to Chile, back to Argentine and on to Uruguay and Brazil.

During his three-day stay in Sao Paulo, the site of Brazil’s second largest Jewish community, Mr. Sharett addressed 12,000 persons who crowded into an open-air stadium to pay tribute to him and to the Jewish State. He also conferred with local Zionist and Jewish youth leaders and on the Sabbath, visited Beth-El Synagogue. On his way from the synagogue and at the airport when he left hundreds of Jews crowded around him eagerly shaking hands with him and calling out greetings.
