Employees of Jewish Firms Hit by Nazis Cannot Claim Compel

A local district court has ruled that Jews ### injured by Nazi action directed at their Jewish employers may not claim c### tion for damges which they suffered.

The court’s ruling upset a decision of the local restitution office which ### the claim of a Jewish worker who had lost his job after his employer’s bus### “Aryanized.” The court ruled that only the man who lost the business was### to compensation.

It added that it was up to the new owners to decide whether or not to re### old employees. The fact that the new owners did not rehire the Jewish en### did not constitute persecution, the court insisted.
