Former President Harry S. Truman will make his first major statement on America and Israel since leaving the White House, when he addresses the Decennial Dinner of the Weizmann Institute of Science at the Waldorf-Astoria on Thursday, it was announced today by Abraham Feinberg, president of the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute.

More than 1,500 persons are expected to attend the $250-per-plate dinner, said Mr. Feinberg, and the gathering will include representatives from Israel and many United Nations delegations, universities and scientific institutions, as well as leaders from Jewish communities throughout the United States.
