The American Jewish Tercentennary Committee and the American Jewish Historical Society have jointly established an Office of Historical Information to facilitate research in connection with the Tercentennary observance, it was announced today.
Functions of the new office will be to: (1) Provide answers to factual inquiries from various sources directed either to it, to the national Tercentennary Committee, or to the American Jewish Historical Society, relating to American Jewish history; (2) Distribute research and educational materials of a factual and historical nature for use in connection with the Tercentennary, and (3) Assist in programming for the 1955 observance of “Jewish History Week,”
