New York Teachers Union Opposes Middle East Tours Barring Jews

The Teachers Union this week-end protested the National Education Associations sponsorship of travel tours to the Middle East that bar Jewish teachers at the request of Arab states which would be host to the teachers’ parties.

Charging that the NEA was indirectly supporting “discrimination in its crudest form,” the Teachers Union demanded that it “disassociate this largest organization of American teachers completely from similar tours in the future.”
