Earlier yesterday, the elderly Chancellor had conferred with the Ambassadors of the United States, Britain and United Arab Republic in this capital. Only a week ago, Dr. Adenauer, who has remarked that “no matter what happens President Nasser will remain, ” told newsmen that Germany will keep herself aloof from the Middle East conflict in order to be in a position to carry on conciliation talks with Col.
