Israel Firm to Construct Parliament Building in Sierra Leone

Final agreement has been reached between the Joint National Construction Company of Sierra Leone and Solel Boneh, here, for the construction of the new Parliament building at Freetown, it was announced here today by Rogers Wright, Sierra Leone Development Minister. Solel Bonch is the construction arm of Histadrut, the Israel Federation of Labor.

According to the plans announced by Mr. Wright, the main building of Sierra Leone’s Parliament will be ready by April, 1961, when the present British protectorate achieves independence.
