Police here were investigating today an incendiary bomb attack on the home of Bernard Liebowitz, assistant director of the Hospital and Home for the Jewish Aged. The incident which resulted in minor damage to the house, before the blaze was extinguished, came in the wake of a heated labor dispute at the institution in which one woman had already been arrested for throwing a rock.

Arthur Waldman, director of the Home, who announced a $2,000 reward for the apprehension of the bomb thrower, said today that during the picketing by the Building Service Employees Union, “employees have been punched entering the grounds, nails have been thrown on the highway and drivers intimidated.”
