The forthcoming visit of Rabbi Meir Kahane, Jewish Defense League chairman, was cancelled the last minute last Thursday after Belgian authorities refused to lift the expulsion order against him issued last year during the World Conference of Jewish Communities on Soviet Jewry. The government said, however, that it would eventually lift the order to enable him to address a meeting of the “Jewish Students Front.”
