A fifth suspected case of polio was reported in Israel on Tuesday, the third such case in 48 hours.
These latest cases follow confirmation last week of two diagnoses of the disease.
The most recent suspected incidence is that of a 17-year-old girl from the Israeli Arab town ship of Fureidis, north of Hadera.
The girl was admitted to the Carmel Hospital a week ago, complaining of fever and muscular weakness.
Laboratory tests are being carried out to determine the exact nature of her illness.
