Parents, relatives and friends of Israeli soldiers who are presently out of the country can dial a number in Israel to have their personal Rosh Hashanah greetings aired on army radio during the upcoming holiday.
The holiday connection is a joint venture of Bezek, the Israel Telecommunication Corp., and Galei Tzahal, the army radio.
Callers who wish to participate in that program can call between Sept. 14 and Sept. 22 to 972-3-65-2222, and leave a message for their soldier.
The actual call, or an announcer’s version of the call, will be broadcast on army radio on the eve of Rosh Hashanah.
