After 31 years, the task of translating into English the protocols of the trial of Adolf Eichmann has finally been completed.
The first volume of the compilation was submitted last Friday by retired Supreme Court Justice Moshe Landau, who presided at the Eichmann trial. He gave the text to Justice Minister David Libai and the previous head of that ministry, Dan Meridor.
The English-translation project includes five volumes of protocols, attorney claims and verdicts, as well as seven volumes of documents which were submitted as evidence during the trial in Jerusalem, which took place from April to December 1961.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
