The Israel-allied South Lebanon Army will this week begin withdrawing from an enclave in the north of the security zone, the leader of the SLA said Monday. Gen. Antoine Lahad said the withdrawal from the Christian enclave of Jezzine would take about two weeks and called on the Lebanese army to ensure the safety of the area’s residents.
