A Czech court sentenced a man to 10 months in jail for his neo-Nazi activities. In July 1999, Jiri Tuma appeared in court to face charges of distributing a shirt with the words Combat-18, a British neo-Nazi group. “What sort of democracy is this,” Tuma is reported to have said, “where I cannot freely say I don’t like Gypsies?”
