Backers of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak are bracing themselves for Thursday’s scheduled release of a report on nonprofit groups that worked for Barak’s election. State Comptroller Eliezer Goldberg is due to decide whether to ask the attorney general to launch a police investigation of alleged campaign finance violations.
