A group of Jewish cyclists plan to ride from Seattle to Washington, D.C., this summer to raise money and awareness for environmental causes. In The Cross- Country Jewish Environmental Bike Ride, about 15 cyclists — who will take off June 11 — will visit Jewish communities in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago and elsewhere to promote environmental issues from a religious perspective.
