After years of debate on gay marriage, Reform rabbis overwhelmingly passed a resolution affirming that “the relationship of a Jewish, same gender couple is worthy of affirmation through appropriate Jewish ritual.” The resolution adopted at the convention of the Central Conference of American Rabbis means the movement will circulate same-sex wedding contracts and other materials for gay and lesbian commitment ceremonies.
