Israel’s president said he may resign before his term ends in 2003. Ezer Weizman said he will decide after the attorney general issues a report on cash gifts he received several years ago from a French millionaire friend. The police had recommended that no charges be brought, but only because the statute of limitations had expired on two of the allegations.
