Computer chip manufacturer Intel chose to build a $2 billion plant in Ireland, rejecting other potential sites, including Kiryat Gat in Israel. Israeli media said one of the factors in Intel’s decision to reject the Israeli site was a recent tax reform recommendation that would reduce tax benefits to foreign investors.
