A U.S. judge ruled that a white supremacist group was negligent in appointing a security director who was known to be unstable. The ruling against the Aryan Nations paves the way for a jury to assess punitive damages in a case involving two plaintiffs who were shot at and assaulted after stopping in front of the group’s Idaho headquarters.
