Lenny Krayzelburg, a Jewish immigrant to the United States from the former Soviet Union, won his third swimming gold medal at the Sydney Summer Olympics in the 4×100 Individual Medley. Earlier in the Games, Krayzelburg won the 100- and 200-meter backstroke, setting an Olympic record both times.
