Jewish settlers from the Gush Katif bloc in the Gaza Strip demonstrated for a third consecutive day against the opening of a main road to Palestinian traffic. Police dispersed the settlers before Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat’s convoy came through. Settlers claimed Arafat’s bodyguards aimed their weapons at them as they drove by.
