A new Jewish group plans to mobilize Jewish organizations and individuals to be more active on social justice issues. At the kickoff for Amos — named for the biblical prophet — the group released a poll showing that a majority of U.S. Jews see “making the world a better place” as the most meaningful aspect of their Jewish identity.
