Officials at the University of California at Berkeley are reviewing a class taught by a pro-Palestinian activist. The move came after Snehal Shingavi, a fifth-year graduate student in English, included in the description for his undergraduate course a reference to “the brutal Israeli military occupation of Palestine” and charged that it has been “ongoing since 1948.”
