A former senior Israeli security official reportedly managed a Swiss bank account for Yasser Arafat, according to an Israeli newspaper. Even after the outbreak of the intifada, Yossi Ginossar and his former business partner transferred some $300 million from funds in the bank to unknown sources, the Israeli daily Ma’ariv reported. Ginossar called the report baseless and said he has served Israel faithfully.
