Labor Party leaders in Israel say party leader Amram Mitzna will be forced to join a national unity government if Labor does not win enough Knesset seats in upcoming elections. If Labor does not win at least 26 seats, party leaders believe, there will be internal pressure to join a unity government with the Likud Party, and possibly to seek a new Labor leader, Ha’aretz reported.
