Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon reportedly has requested kosher meals in space. Slated to take off on a NASA mission next month, Ramon said he asked for the kosher food despite the fact that he is not a religious man because he sees himself as “an ambassador for the Israeli people,” according to the Israeli daily Yediot Achronot.
