Eighteen New York state legislators are visiting Israel for a weeklong solidarity mission. The mission, sponsored by the UJA-Federation of New York and the Jewish Community Relations Council, is headed by the speaker of the State Assembly, Sheldon Silver, according to the Jerusalem Post.
