Belarus signed an accord that will open a large trove of Nazi-era records to war crimes prosecutors in the United States. The memorandum of cooperation signed Monday in Washington will “yield valuable evidence that will be of immediate use” in several ongoing cases, John Malcolm, an official with the Justice Department’s Nazi-hunting Office of Special Investigations told The Associated Press.
