The family of the late leader of the Jewish Defense League has filed a $5 million wrongful death suit against the United States. Irv Rubin, 57, was in federal prison in California awaiting trial on charges of conspiring to bomb a mosque and a congressman’s office when he allegedly slashed his throat and jumped off a balcony.
