Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) is expected to introduce a resolution next week that would praise Israel’s democratic elections. Cantor, the only Republican Jew in the House of Representatives and the chief deputy whip, is writing the resolution, which would acknowledge the democratic process in Israel and reaffirm the friendship between the Jewish state and the United States.
