Reports say the British Foreign Office has discouraged Prince Charles from traveling to the United States because he is pro-Palestinian. Prince Charles’ office would not confirm the report, in Wednesday’s Guardian newspaper, which claimed that British diplomats fear the prince would “create embarrassment” by criticizing U.S. policy on the Middle East. Charles last visited the US in 1997.
