A British lawmaker nominated Zaka for a Nobel Peace Prize. Robert Spink nominated Zaka, the Israeli organization staffed by fervently Orthodox Jews that collects victims’ body parts after terrorist attacks, for next year’s award.

Some 1,500 Israeli folk dancers from across Latin America gathered in Brazil. Eighty groups from Brazil, Uruguay, Venezuela and Mexico performed over the weekend in Sao Paulo at the 23rd edition of the Festival Carmel, believed to be the largest Israeli folk dance event outside Israel.
