Almost one in four Israeli children is Muslim. According to a report issued Sunday by Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics, 24 percent of citizens under the age of 16 are Muslim, while 71 percent are Jewish. The rest are from Israel’s Christian, Druse and other minorities.
