A U.S. judge ruled that a former concentration camp guard could be deported. The judge ruled Monday that Jakiw Palij could be deported to his native Ukraine based on his service as a guard at the Trawniki forced-labor camp and because he concealed that service when he applied to immigrate to the United States in 1949. Palij, 80, has been living in New York City.
