Jewish legal experts from the Diaspora will help craft a constitution for Israel. The Knesset’s Constitution, Law and Justice Committee is preparing the document, and Jews from around the world will help prepare portions dealing with issues such as “Who is a Jew?” and religion-state matters, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
