A high school football game in Connecticut was played last Friday after a rabbi’s OK. The coach of the Norwalk High School sought the OK from Rabbi Yehoshua Hecht in accordance with a 2000 agreement that the school must get Hecht’s accord if it plays games on Friday nights on its field, which is next door to Hecht’s synagogue.
