An Internet video game created by Israeli left-wingers allows players to “remove” West Bank settlements. “Wild West Bank,” available at http://brand.co.il/unik/westbank/, was posted online by the “Back to Israel” lobby to drum up support for nationwide left-wing demonstrations expected Friday. To score points in the game, a player clicks on settler caravans, removing them before they can evolve into permanent homes. Soldiers guarding settlements also can be dragged across the boundary into Israel, at which point they cheer. Israeli media said right-wing activists were expected to devise their own version of the game, in which Arabs can be “removed” from the disputed territory.
