Larry Collins, who co-authored “O Jerusalem,” a best-selling account of Israel’s founding, died Monday in France at age 75. Collins, an American, authored a number of best-selling documentary books with Dominique Lapierre. “O Jerusalem,” published in 1971, was an account, based on a wide range of interviews and research, of Israel’s struggle for independence between the end of World War II and its founding in 1948.
