A blogger apologized for saying dogs were smarter than Jews because Jews vote for Democrats. “If American Jews were as canny as dogs — at least if they knew who their friends are — somewhat less than 70 percent of them would still be voting Democratic,” Scott Johnson, a contributor to the popular conservative Powerline Web log, wrote Monday.
