An Israeli government report urged increased monitoring of private armed guards. According to the study submitted Wednesday to Interior Minister Ofir Pines-Paz and Internal Security Minister Gideon Ezra, some 72,000 Israelis used privately owned firearms for security work, but many are improperly trained and run the risk of causing accidental casualties.
