Jewish leaders in Seattle met with the city’s mayor and police chief to discuss security following a deadly shooting at the city’s Jewish federation. Police officials promised an increased security presence at Jewish institutions after last Friday’s shooting attack, and said Jewish groups should have local police give them a security assessment. One person was killed and five wounded in the shooting, believed to be committed by a Muslim man who said he was angry at Jews and Israel.
