Some 2,800 people attended an Aliyah Day in Paris organized by the Jewish Agency for Israel. Sunday’s turnout was an increase from the last Aliyah Day in mid-2006, which drew fewer than 2,000 people.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
