Rabbinical students at Germany’s Reform seminary will spend their first year of study in Israel. The University of Potsdam
and its Reform seminary, the Abraham Geiger College, signed the cooperation agreement with Hebrew Union College last week in Jerusalem, according to a statement Wednesday.

The agreement provides for reduced fees for rabbinical candidates from Germany and sets the groundwork for common research projects and academic exchange.
