Y.U. prof earns $50,000 prize

A Yeshiva University professor was the first-place winner in the 2007 Templeton Enterprise Awards.

James Otteson, a professor of economics and philosophy, won the $50,000 prize for his book “Actual Ethics.”

The awards, presented by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, are given annually to scholars younger than 40 who have published in the field of humane economics and culture.
