A group of vandals attacked a synagogue in the southern Russian city of Astrakhan.
Several young people charged into the synagogue screaming anti-Semitic slogans and menacing worshipers, according to a report Monday by the Sova Analytic-Informational Center in Moscow. Before leaving, the vandals tore a banner from the wall and smashed a window.
The same group reportedly had attacked the synagogue on Oct. 19, shouting “Jews get out” and “death to kikes,” but the incident was not reported at the time.
