Israeli airstrikes killed three Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The Air Force fired missiles Tuesday at two Palestinian rocket crews and a gunman approaching Gaza’s boundary fence.

At least three Palestinians were killed and another three wounded in the attacks, which followed a cross-border rocket salvo against the southern Israeli town of Sderot.

Palestinians identified two of the dead as boys, and the third as a Hamas gunman. Israeli military officials said only combatants were targeted.

In the past, Gaza terrorists have recruited children to retrieve their spent rocket and mortar launchers in hope of discouraging Israeli attacks on the ordnance.
